Wildlife programs have made us very aware of our natural world. This has prompted public revulsion against the imprisoning conditions of the worlds zoo's and more increasingly people find it even more unacceptable to find animals such as lions or gorillas pacing around mindlessly in a ten meter squared cage for the rest of their lives.
Lets put yourself in their shoes, this is like being stuck in your bedroom with only the basic necessities of life and nothing to do for your whole life. Animals are not that different from humans themselves, they should also have the right to explore the world that they were chosen by god to live in, but living in the zoo will most definitely prevent this.
Overall keeping animals in cages is not right. For every animal that lives in the zoo is like a human that has got a life sentence in jail for a crime that they did not commit, don't you agree?
